Quinta das Mercês is a 16th century country house offering luxury accommodation next to the sea. It is situated on Mount Brasil, 5 minutes' drive away from the centre of Angra do Heroísmo.

This small pension has just 13 beautifully presented and classically furnished guest rooms. Some of the rooms have their own private garden, some of the rooms feature a sea view.

Quinta das Mercês is surrounded by 35,000 m² of gardens and woodlands and offers some great walking circuits. Other leisure facilities include a seawater pool, tennis, fishing and Turkish bath.
