LOCATION
Pestana Hotels & Resorts has created a luxurious five star hotel within the grounds of the fully restored nineteenth century Palácio Valle Flor.
The hotel complex is comprised of the Palace itself, reserved for the public and social areas including the reception, bar, restaurant and function rooms, together with two separate newly built guest room wings in the beautiful grounds surrounding the palace.
Both the Palace and its gardens are classified as a Portuguese national monument. The Carlton Palace Hotel is a member of Summit Hotels and Resorts, located in the Alto de Santo Amaro district, a very tranquil part of Lisbon. The Carlton Palace Hotel has easy access to the city centre, to the International Airport (10 km) and also to the new International Exhibition Centre and enjoys superb panoramic views of the city, the Tagus and the Atlantic Ocean.
ACCOMMODATION
The hotel has 190 rooms including 4 suites located in the palace and 13 suites in the new wings. All rooms and suites are equipped with the most modern facilities including air-conditioning, central heating, cable television, and in-house movies with pay TV, electronic key cards, fully stocked bar, hairdryer, in-room safe, direct-dial telephones and voice mail. Non-smoking rooms are also available.

DINING
Dine at the Valle-Flôr Restaurant, one of the most astonishing rooms in Lisbon. It is the scene for a contemporary recreation of traditional Portuguese cuisine. A feast for the senses is on display every day from 12:30 pm to 03:00 pm and 07:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Table reservations are recommended as well as the use of a jacket in the evening for the gentlemen.
Breakfast is also served in Restaurant Valle-Flôr daily from 06:30 am to 10:30 am. If you leave before 06:30 we will be pleased to offer you coffee, available next to the front desk at Casa do Lago.
Next to the outdoor pool a Chinese style pavilion serves drinks and light meals from May to September from 10 am to 07:00 pm. A unique place in the middle of the busy city and a tribute to the tradition of the old palatial gardens. The Allegro Bar is open from 09:00 am to 01:00 am and is located in the former music and games rooms of the Palace. With a fine selection of international beverages and cigars, the bar also serves light meals and traditional afternoon tea. From 06:00 pm to 10:30 pm the sound of the piano brings back old memories.
LEISURE
An open air swimming pool is located in the gardens near a fitness centre with indoor pool. Golf, tennis and other sports activities are available nearby at preferred rates. The Docks area, the centre of Lisbon´s restaurant and night life and the Alcântara and Belém Marinas are located 2 just km away.
MEETING FACILITIES
The hotel has a fully equipped business centre as well as superb facilities for conference, meetings, exhibitions and events. Fifteen function rooms accommodate from 10 to 650 persons and provide the possibility of organizing all types of events: from a boardroom meeting in a room overlooking the Tagus river to a conference in a room equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities.
